Shah Mehmood said about Occupied kashmir
Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi has said that India's actions in occupied Kashmir could damage world peace. At a press conference in Islamabad, Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi said that the past year was important in terms of diplomacy. Regarding India, Shah Mehmood Qureshi said that relations with India remained cold in 2021 and India's attitude was irresponsible. He said that the criticism of Pakistan was well received by India at the local level and that this was not the thinking of the RSS but the development of the region and its domestic politics. He said that India was continuing its human rights violations in Kashmir and that India's actions could damage world peace. On Kashmir, he said that if India wants to improve relations, it should withdraw the measures taken on August 5, India arrested the leaders of Kashmir in bogus cases and in 2021, India arrested 1,400 Kashmiris. Shah Mehmood said that digital diplomacy was promoted in the Foreign Ministry. In 2021, more than 80 delegations from more than 50 Pakistani countries were exchanged and more than 35 foreign heads of state arrived in Pakistan. He said that around 35 laws were passed by the United Nations and Pakistan played an important role in this. The Chancellor said that there are currently 114 missions online and that they have been connected to Twitter, Instagram and Facebook. As for the neighboring country, he said that Pakistan had decided to play its role in the situation in Afghanistan and announced 5,000 million rupees in humanitarian aid for Afghanistan. He clarified that there is no military solution for Afghanistan and Pakistan will continue its efforts for the peace process. The foreign minister said Afghans continue to raise the issue of the peace process and Kashmir in various forums while improving relations with Muslim countries, including the United States, China and Russia. As for the Foreign Ministry, he added that in December 2021 a meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the OCI was held. He added that in 2021 economic diplomacy was promoted and trade with African countries increased by 7%. The Foreign Minister said that Pakistan had reviewed its relations with Central Asian countries and launched the Engage Africa Policy on the African continent.
